There are 3 types of companies in Printed Electronics (PE) market: ink manufacturers, electronics component designers/ manufacturers, and printing companies. The companies who make ink/ design/ manufacture electronic components do not have the technology and expertise that it takes to print electronics at high speeds with good quality. These companies may have prototype printers to test concepts, but they rely on printing companies like us to do their printing.
